Hägglunds is part of Bosch Rexroth and has a history that stretches back more than 50 years. Today, Hägglunds is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic drive systems and solutions. Hägglunds has its headquarters and main production facility in Mellansel, just outside Örnsköldsvik. Here, all functions are housed under one roof: From development and production to sales and service. Our customers are found in various industries such as pulp and paper manufacturing, rubber, material recycling, marine industry, chemical industry, material handling, and sugar production from sugar cane. Hägglunds has approximately 600 employees worldwide, of which around 400 work in Mellansel.

Are you our new Project Engineer?

As a project engineer with us, you will play a central role in supporting Hägglunds' sales and service organization worldwide. You will be a key player in creating technical solutions for hydraulic systems in a variety of customer applications. In this role, you will propose and develop innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of customers. You will also work on projects from start to finish, which includes selecting the right components to ensuring that the systems are both efficient and reliable.

You will use your technical expertise to support our global organization and work closely with our sales teams at the local, regional, and international levels to ensure that customers receive the best solutions. The role also offers you the opportunity to build and maintain an extensive international network within the industry, while also influencing and contributing to the technical development and innovation within hydraulic systems.

This is a varied and dynamic role where you will handle technical challenges, analyze complex problems, and find creative solutions. With flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work, we offer a work environment that provides a balanced everyday life.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• an engineering degree in areas such as hydraulics, mechanical engineering, or other academic education and work experience that the employer deems suitable
• a strong technical understanding and the ability to independently solve technical challenges and analyze complex problems
• fluent English language skills, both spoken and written

We consider it particularly advantageous if you also have:

• competence in carrying out projects in their entirety, including needs analysis with the customer and up to the complete system delivery
• several years of practical experience in similar areas, especially within hydraulics
• competence in CAD software, including BricsCAD and SolidWorks
