Your Future Challenge

BAE Systems is currently in an intensive period with many parallel projects generating exciting and developing challenges for us. Therefore, we want to continue to strengthen our electronics development department with an additional team leader. Depending on your background, we have the opportunity to tailor the role to fit your aspirations for the next step in your career development.

As a team leader in electronics, you will work across a broad technical area within the Vetroics design section and the Hardware unit. This includes the groups of electronics, electrical systems, electromechanics, and firmware. Your task with us will be to lead and support a team of colleagues in an innovative and professional manner.

You will be responsible for planning, managing, executing, and following up on work that covers the entire product lifecycle, including:

• PCB development from prototype to field deployment
• Development of the next generation of embedded systems in vehicle environments
• Hardware-near programming in VHDL focused on FPGA
• System design including safety-critical (ISO26262) functions
• Analog and digital design
• Testing and commissioning

Our development tools include Altium Designer, Libero SoC, and SimuLink, among others.

Who You Are

We prefer that you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics, software, automation, or equivalent. You have good collaboration and communication skills. You have a positive outlook and enjoy creative problem-solving. Experience in leadership roles is an advantage.

Fluent Swedish and English in both spoken and written form are required.
