The area of Internal Medicine and Infection is one of the largest clinics at Danderyd Hospital, with a significant responsibility for the acute medical flow and the acutely ill patient.

With us, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the internal medicine patient while being part of a team of dedicated colleagues.

We are looking for junior doctors every summer for our operations.

Job Responsibilities

Typical junior doctor work on the ward includes patient assessments, daily notes, discharges, and referrals. You may also assist with medication distribution and administration of medications.

For junior doctors before graduation, the position involves working in one of the medical clinic's wards. We currently staff pulmonary, general internal medicine, palliative, gastroenterological, and endocrinological departments.

Qualifications

Junior doctor before graduation (medical student from semester 9)

Passed all components up to and including semester 9 in the medical program. For studies outside Sweden, passed all components (including grades) involving internal medicine. This includes not only internal medicine but also neurology, cardiology, and emergency care.

Experience in emergency care as a nursing assistant is an advantage.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone with an interest in internal medicine. You have good judgment and a strong ability to collaborate with others. We place great importance on personal suitability.
