About the role of nursing assistant in the lab

We are looking for an engaged nursing assistant for our laboratory at Kry Östertull Health Center. The work mainly consists of sample collection and analysis. You will meet patients of different ages and with varying healthcare needs. The position includes working with various digital tools. In this role, you will collaborate closely with all professional categories at the health center.

Responsibilities for the nursing assistant in the laboratory

• Tasks related to sample collection, such as blood and urine samples as well as other commonly performed analyses and equipment.
• Be the face of the health center as you meet many of our patients daily.
• Collaborate closely with the medical reception to ensure high patient safety and good service.

Qualifications and characteristics for the nursing assistant position at Kry

• Trained nursing assistant with an approved nursing assistant license.
• Experience in sample collection and laboratory work within primary care or a related field is an advantage. A laboratory education is preferred.
• Experience working with independent nursing assistant reception is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You are meticulous, service-oriented, and always put the patient first.
• You find it easy to collaborate, are flexible, and enjoy working in a team.
• Ability to handle stress as patient flow varies from day to day.
