Attendo Hammarby nursing home is located in the western part of Västerås. The building has 28 apartments for people with dementia and care needs, as well as a service house with 30 apartments for those who have been granted home care services.

We are looking for someone who is driven by working with people and making a real difference for our customers every day. You have the ability to empower and support customers in all aspects of daily life.

As a person, you are meticulous and engaged with customers and their relatives. You find it easy to collaborate, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.

Job Description

As a nursing assistant with us, your duties include helping our residents with daily care, supporting during meal times, and engaging residents socially and mentally. Documenting in journals, creating implementation plans, etc.

We have several positions to fill with employment levels between 45-75%, with varying daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.

It is an advantage if you have experience in care work in elderly care and delegation.

We are looking for you with a nursing assistant education and experience in care work.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)
• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

You enjoy providing good service, building great relationships, and want to enhance the quality of life for our customers. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about elderly care and can see the individual’s needs. Having a leadership role is stimulating, and you enjoy mentoring your colleagues in health and medical care issues.
