On behalf of Riksbyggen, we are now looking for a Data Analyst/Tech Lead – a strategic and technical key person who wants to contribute to building the digital living environments of the future.
About Riksbyggen Riksbyggen may not be the first company that comes to mind when you hear the word “IT” – but it should be. As one of Sweden's largest community builders, Riksbyggen combines over 80 years of experience in property development with a strong tech focus. Here, not only houses and homes are built – modern, smart IT solutions are also developed to support hundreds of thousands of people in their daily lives.
Riksbyggen develops sustainable living environments and is also one of Sweden's largest property managers, serving housing cooperatives, companies, and public property owners.
The company is cooperatively owned by its customers, which means that development takes place close to the business and focuses on solutions that actually make a difference. There is a clear ambition to be at the forefront technically – to build new, not just integrate ready-made solutions. The environment is characterized by stability, long-term thinking, and practical innovation.
As an employer, Riksbyggen offers a place where you can grow, influence, and contribute – both technically and socially. It is a workplace for those who want to make a difference while having security behind them.
About the role As a Data Analyst/Tech Lead, you will be part of the CIO Office & IT architecture group, where you work closely with the business and report to the head of the area. The team has expertise in architecture, platforms, data quality, integration, and BIM. Your role is to drive development in data analysis and contribute to creating insights that improve business processes, user experiences, and profitability.
You are responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data, as well as visualizing and presenting insights in an understandable way. As a Tech Lead, you are also an important requirements setter and knowledge disseminator in the data field.
Your tasks include
- Collecting, analyzing, and modeling data from the business.
- Creating and maintaining data models and developing reports and visualizations in Power BI.
- Building and further developing analysis platforms, for example with Fabric.
- Performing predictive analysis and contributing to work with advanced analysis and automation.
- Being a requirements setter for systems with complex data mapping.
- Communicating needs and solutions with both technical teams and the business.
- Spreading knowledge through workshops, training, and presentations.
Who are you? We are looking for someone who is communicative, analytical, and pedagogical in dialogue with both technical specialists and the business. You are business-driven and thrive in a role where you combine technical expertise with an understanding of business benefits. With your collaborative ability and drive, you contribute to developing Riksbyggen and creating value for customers and employees.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in IT or computer science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within the real estate industry.
- Experience in data analysis, modeling, and database solutions.
- Knowledge and experience of Power BI and analysis platforms.
- The ability to identify patterns, trends, and insights in large data sets.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Meritorious:
- Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, and Fabric.
- Knowledge of SAFe or other agile development methodologies.
- Experience with AI, automation, and machine learning models.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience coding in any programming language.
Benefits that make a difference At Riksbyggen, you get secure and generous terms. You have 30 days of vacation and an extra day off of your choice – for example, the day before Christmas Eve or on Ascension Day. Before public holidays, we work half days. You are also covered by very good pension terms.
You are offered wellness benefits, reimbursement for patient fees for healthcare visits, and the opportunity to take part in Rikskort – a benefit card that can be used in stores and restaurants. In case of good results, a performance bonus is also distributed as appreciation for the joint effort.
You will have your workplace in Riksbyggen's modern and bright office at Kungsbron in central Stockholm – with a view over the rooftops and direct proximity to all communication routes, just a stone's throw from T-centralen. There is also the possibility to work in a hybrid solution.
Welcome with your application! The recruitment will be conducted by Ed:Za Group. If you have any questions or concerns related to the position and the process, you are warmly welcome to contact [email protected] or [email protected]
