About the Role

Tyresö Bostäder is now looking for a property caretaker with a focus on repairs. We are looking for a technical team player with a good ability to collaborate, who is social, empathetic, and knows how to create sustainable living environments and good relationships.

The role includes repairs and maintenance within Tyresö Bostäder's property portfolio. You will work in a team and manage your work orders independently. The job requires personal responsibility and participation in the entire group's work. The position offers a variety of tasks, where corrective maintenance for our tenants constitutes the largest part. This includes tasks such as simple electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs. Administrative tasks such as reporting, ordering from contractors, and following up on ordered work are also part of your role. You should also be able to assist with other tasks as needed.

You will be part of our management team, which consists of a property manager, property caretaker/repair technician, and customer service representatives. You will collaborate closely with other units and teams within Tyresö Bostäder, giving you a good overall view of our operations.

In the role of property caretaker/repair technician, we would like you to have:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Preferably additional training, KY education, or similar with a focus on properties.
• A couple of years of experience as a property caretaker, property technician, repair technician, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, ventilation, HVAC, and construction/carpentry is an advantage.
• Experience with data systems and good knowledge of Office programs.
• Driver's license (B) for manual transmission.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written; additional language skills are an advantage.
