DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATION

Byle Gård is a palliative care unit located on the outskirts of Täby Kyrkby. The unit has 18 beds for specialized palliative inpatient care. We primarily care for patients with advanced cancer but also other diagnosis groups at the end of life. We work in teams consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. We provide care with quality. Nothing is impossible with us!

With us, you will be part of an experienced and competent workgroup with extensive experience in palliative care. We believe that teamwork and collaboration are important. The unit strives to be at the forefront of specialized palliative care. Many of your future colleagues are specialists in palliative care.

JOB DUTIES

We work according to the values of palliative care. Proximity, wholeness, knowledge, and empathy, where the patient's physical, psychological, existential, and social needs are at the center. At night, you will work together with a nursing colleague with varying tasks based on the patients' different needs. You should enjoy working closely with patients and be flexible in your professional role.

QUALIFICATIONS

Nursing education, preferably with a few years of experience. Experience in medical or palliative care is preferred.

WORKING HOURS/DURATION

Permanent part-time employment. Weekly working hours for our night staff are 32.33 hours/week. A probationary period applies.

SALARY

Monthly salary, collective agreement exists

START DATE

2025-11-01 or by agreement.
