About the Position

We are now looking for a junior test developer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients, a global player in industrial automation and robotics. The assignment is initially for 6 months, but there are very good opportunities for extension and employment with the client company.

You will become part of an experienced testing team that works closely with both the robots' software and user interface. This is a role where you can combine programming with practical work. The role is perfect for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to develop quickly in a technology-driven environment.

Your Future Responsibilities

As a test developer, you will work both practically and analytically to ensure that the robot applications function according to requirements and expectations. You will be an important part of the team working with application-level testing in agile projects.

Your tasks will include:

• Writing and executing test cases for robot applications
• Working with both manual and automated testing
• Writing test specifications and documenting results
• Collaborating with developers and other testers
• Participating in planning via backlog and weekly meetings
• Contributing to improvements and automation of testing processes

We are looking for someone who

Has a technical education in software testing, automation, or robotics, as well as a strong interest in technology. You have basic programming skills and a desire to learn more about testing in practice.

Formal Requirements

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Basic programming skills (e.g., C#, Python, or C++)
• Interest in testing methodology and quality assurance
• Good understanding of technical systems
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form

Meritorious

• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Previous work with testing or automation
• Interest in or experience with robotics
• Chinese is a plus but not a requirement
