The Social Services Administration is responsible for individual and family care, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. We work preventively with support, interventions, and authority exercise for children, youth, families, adults, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Unit Description:

With us, we implement decisions regarding contact persons, short-term families, escort services, and relief services according to LSS and SoL for people with various disabilities.

About the Assignment:

Are you an empathetic and engaged person who wants to make a difference in someone else's life? We are now looking for contact persons, relief workers, and escorts. The positions are part-time, and we process applications continuously, so do not hesitate to send in your CV and personal letter today!

About the Positions:

Contact Person: As a contact person, you are a social support and a friend. You meet and do something together, such as walking, having coffee, going to the movies, or just talking. Usually, you meet 2-3 times a month during the day, evenings, or weekends, for a maximum of 10 hours in total.

Relief Worker: As a relief worker, you are an important resource for families with children who have special needs. You help out in the evenings and/or weekends, allowing parents the opportunity for recovery, personal activities, or to spend time with siblings. Relief occurs in the child's home or in the surrounding area of the home.

Escort: As an escort, you provide a youth or adult the opportunity to participate in leisure activities, cultural life, or meet friends. You accompany them to activities that usually take place in the evenings and weekends. Your presence enables the person to partake in activities that would otherwise be difficult to carry out alone.

Employment Conditions:

For relief workers and escorts: Temporary hourly employment usually around 10-25 hours per month.

For contact persons: Fixed monthly compensation consisting of fees and expense reimbursement according to SKR. A valid extract from the police's criminal record (LSS) is a requirement for employment. You must be 18 years or older.

Your Profile:

We are looking for someone who has experience or a strong interest in working with people with disabilities. You are an engaged and active person who enjoys finding meaningful activities and making a difference in other people's lives. We prefer that you are attentive, flexible, and structured in your work approach and can adapt to the individual's needs and wishes. We also see that you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is of great importance to us.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with people with disabilities
