About the Role

Do you want to work in a creative and technically challenging role where you can develop circuit board solutions for the products of the future? As a PCBA Designer, you will:

• Develop and design using tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics, or Altium.
• Create and improve layouts and floor plans for circuit boards.
• Participate in projects where you contribute your expertise in analog and digital power systems, including DC/DC converters.
• Work in a lab environment to verify designs through measurements and analyses.
• Knowledge of simulation of power converters and power systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve work methods and share knowledge.

Requirements

To succeed in the role of PCBA Designer, we believe you have a technical education at the BSc or MSc level in electronics, electrical engineering, or a similar field. You have experience working with electronics design, where you are comfortable with both schematic drawing and layout work in tools such as Cadence or Altium. We prefer that you have an understanding of manufacturing processes and the technical challenges that may arise in connection with electronics design.

It is advantageous if you have worked with analog and digital power systems, such as DC/DC converters, and have some experience in simulating signal, power, and thermal characteristics. Familiarity with working in a lab environment with measurements and design verifications is also something we value.

You are an analytical problem solver who can quickly grasp technical challenges and enjoy collaborating with others to find the best solutions. Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

If you also have experience in telecommunications or mass production projects, as well as an understanding of statistics and thermal design, that is an extra plus.
