Teater Sesam is an independent theater group in Gothenburg that has been active since 1987 on a full-time basis with a permanent stage since 1992. We produce at least one new production per year and tour both in Sweden and internationally. The activities mainly consist of puppet and shadow theater for children and adults.

We are now looking for an actor for one of the spring performances at Teater Sesam. The period is from February to April. The performances will take place on a permanent stage at Chapmans Torg in Majorna, Gothenburg. If selected for an interview, you will be asked to audition.

We are looking for someone with a degree from a university or similar in acting and documented experience. The performance includes acting, puppetry, and mask work that require good physical condition, agility, and body control. Previous experience in dance/physical work on stage is advantageous. Experience in puppetry is not a requirement. However, curiosity, patience, and enthusiasm are essential for those who will learn to interact as a whole in dialogue and play with puppets and masks. To ensure successful collaboration in the small ensemble that the position entails, it is necessary to be attentive, resilient, responsible, and positive.
