Original Artist/Sign Producer at Liseberg

The commercial function focuses on brand, marketing, sales, and digital guest experience. The function plays a crucial role in digital transformation, focusing on creating both business value and guest value. Based on the Liseberg brand, we develop and manage new digital guest experiences that prepare guests for their visit, enhance and extend the experience, and drive sales.

Liseberg is one of Sweden's most anticipated destinations. Every year, 3.2 million people come here to laugh, gasp, relax, and be together with people they care about.

Today, the business consists of an amusement park, restaurants, theaters, and accommodations, employing over 500 permanent employees and 2500 seasonal employees. With a newly opened themed hotel and soon a water world in our offering, Liseberg is evolving from being an amusement park for 100 years to becoming a new destination - a world of experiences. Liseberg has an annual turnover of approximately 1.4 billion SEK and is part of the Stadshus AB group, fully owned by the City of Gothenburg.

Do you want to be part of shaping the future Liseberg experience? We are now looking for an Original Artist/Sign Producer for our studio.

Description

The Marketing Department is part of Liseberg's commercial function, consisting of the Sales, Marketing, and Digital Guest Experience departments. The function works with all tools to strengthen the brand, communicate with all target groups, drive sales, and create digital experiences.

The Marketing Department is responsible for making our visitors long to come here. We do this by planning, producing, and implementing communication efforts across a wide range of channels. Our mission is to strengthen the Liseberg brand locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally based on Liseberg's brand platform and insights about our guests, creating communication that builds strong relationships and increases sales.

Within the department, there are project managers, CRM managers, a content team, and a creative in-house team with an associated studio. We work with the entire business offering and its various experiences, food & beverage, accommodations, stage experiences, and the seasons of Summer, Halloween, and Christmas at Liseberg. In April 2023, Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel opened, and in 2026, the Liseberg Oceana water world will open, which, together with the amusement park, will create a completely new destination for our guests and provide even more reasons to visit Gothenburg. To manage the entire marketing mission for the new destination that is emerging, we need to expand our team.

We are now looking for a positive and social team member for our in-house team, based in Liseberg's studio, responsible for coordinating, designing, producing, and completing signs, printed materials, and much more.

Responsibilities

As an Original Artist/Sign Producer, you will be responsible for coordinating incoming assignments to the studio. All planning and prioritization of the studio's productions are done via Trello. In this role, you will be in contact with clients, provide approximate delivery schedules, and assist clients with advice on alternative solutions when the studio's production capacity is fully booked.

You will be responsible for original work, some design and layout for graphic production in the studio. You will also handle plotting, cutting, assembly, and installation of signs in collaboration with another sign producer from the team.

You will primarily interact with clients in Liseberg's various business areas. The work is done in dialogue with the In-house production management, considering resource and needs planning.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Relevant education in the field.
  • Documented and advantageous work experience from the sign/printing industry.
  • Good knowledge of Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

Personal Qualities

  • Good collaboration and teamwork skills
  • You see your work as a craft you master fully and you want to work with printed materials.
  • A positive attitude and a pronounced 'doer'.
  • You need to be outgoing and positive, as the job involves a lot of contact with clients
  • Driven and responsible, structured and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience in handling pressure and many complex projects that are sometimes carried out at a fast pace.

Conditions: The position is a fixed-term contract for three months. Selection is ongoing, and the position is desired to be filled as soon as possible.

Other: We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences as we strive for a broad representation in the organization. If you have any questions about the position, please contact In-house Area Manager, Nina Wisenius, via email: [email protected]
