As the position is a summer temporary job, we wish that you are available for work between weeks 23-35. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work days or nights, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their everyday lives.

You do this through presence in public places, and hopefully, it provides a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As a security guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations.

The position suits you if you enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We have a strong community and a wide range of experience among us colleagues that allows us to handle most situations. If you want to be part of a close-knit team, this is the job for you.

Qualifications

We believe that you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and manage setbacks well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibilities of your role and can remain objective when required. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard license
• You have passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
