To make you feel truly welcome and quickly gain insight into Eurenco's operations, you will participate in an introductory program. Through the program, you will meet various departments at Eurenco and also receive theoretical sessions about the company and its products.

As an HSE Engineer, you will be part of a team of six people and report to Eurenco's HSE Manager.

The role of HSE Engineer is broad but also a specialist role. You will become the company's HSE expert focusing on external environment and drive tasks primarily related to chemical legislation and ISO-14001.

Your role includes conducting work in accordance with the company's occupational health and safety regulations, where you will, of course, have support in the processes, rules, and routines/instructions that govern the operations. Following the development of laws and regulations, communicating corporate requirements, and guidelines for implementation in the organization is another important part of your responsibility.

You will support the line organization in daily matters and will also represent the company in various networks regarding the external environment and be responsible for certain authority contacts.

Eurenco is currently in an ongoing environmental permit process where you will be highly involved and play an important role.

Eurenco works closely with neighboring companies in Björkborn and external consulting firms.

You will be involved in various projects to more effectively purify emissions to air and water.

Examples of tasks:

• Sampling according to the company's self-monitoring program, reporting and evaluating analysis data, and keeping the control program updated.
• Actively monitor the company's emissions to air and water and drive investigations in case of abnormal values.
• Contacts with the company operating the Björkborn area’s treatment plant for process wastewater.
• Contacts with external labs regarding analysis results and methods.
• Responsible for the environmental report to the County Administrative Board.
• Responsible for certain contacts with authorities.
• Support to departments and contact with external companies regarding waste management.
• Responsible for the systematic ISO-14001 improvement work in collaboration with production and process engineers.
• Actively participate in internal and external ISO-14001 audits and sustainability audits.
• Actively participate in planning and executing emergency drills.
• Develop new/update instructions in the environmental area and implement them.
• Responsible for certain parts of ongoing projects and the environmental permit process.

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus on chemistry, occupational health and safety, environment, or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience. We prefer that you have experience in a similar role where you are accustomed to working with external environmental issues and interpreting legislation.

We expect you to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and possess a B driver's license. We require that you have Swedish citizenship, as we have both authority requirements and customer collaborations that impose this requirement.
