Do you want to be part of driving the energy and climate work in Örebro County?
The Energy Agency Region Örebro County is now looking for a committed and driven development manager. Come and join our team!
In the field of energy and climate - the Energy Agency - we are a dedicated group with various focus areas. We work for a sustainable energy system with efficient energy use, increased share of renewable energy, and reduced climate impact throughout Örebro County. We run projects and networks at regional, national, and European levels, across all sectors of society, to promote sustainable development.
With us, you have great freedom to influence and shape your workday to make the puzzle of life fit together.
Quote from one of the employees:
"At the energy agency, we have the perfect combination of practical and strategic work. We work a lot with municipalities, companies, ALMI, and other actors to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This means that our work can have a great impact. For me, the best part is that we get to work practically and see things happen but also get to see the big picture in the transition itself. A complex issue does not need just one solution but several, and that's where we can come in because we have contact with municipalities, companies, and other important actors."
Region Örebro County is one of the county's largest employers and an important engine for growth in the region. Here you will find exciting and important jobs in areas such as healthcare, dental care, infrastructure, culture, business development, and several other areas that are important for the development of the Örebro region. Our common vision is: Together we create a better life, and our three values are cooperation, development, and professionalism.
In the Regional Development Administration, we work to create conditions for competitive development and a good quality of life in our region. Our area of responsibility is broad and ranges from public health, education, and culture to business development, energy and climate, and public transport. The administration consists of about 330 employees, and together we create development power.
