At Projektverkstaden, an experienced contracting company focused on construction and plumbing, you will work in an organization with 12 employees and a wide network of specialists. The company has two owners, a competent board, collective agreements, and is a member of the Construction Companies and certified according to BKMA. The annual turnover is approximately 100 million SEK, with a clear focus on stability, quality, and long-term customer relationships. We carry out total contracts primarily in renovation projects, often with cultural heritage buildings at the center, but we also work with some new construction.

What does the role entail?
As a site manager, your first tasks will be to lead the work on one of the largest church renovation projects in over 100 years – the renovation and reconstruction of the Holy Trinity Church from the 17th century. The project includes both external and internal efforts: facade and roof renovations, installation of a new sound and lighting system, adaptation of the interior for greater functionality, for example, concerts and meetings, as well as general interior renovation. Additionally, there will be foundation reinforcement and excavation work. The project will start with the external work in the fall and then continue indoors.

As a site manager, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and leading the daily work on site. You coordinate subcontractors, drive the project according to set time and quality goals, manage documentation, finances, and deviations in relevant IT systems such as Byggsamordnaren, and ensure that the project is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, environmental requirements, and quality standards.

Who are you?
You have at least 10 years of experience as a site manager and are well acquainted with renovation projects and older buildings. You have previously worked with general contracts and led collaborations with several subcontractors. Experience with cultural heritage buildings is an absolute requirement. Your background includes a post-secondary engineering degree in construction or equivalent experience, as well as a B driver's license.

You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, are used to working in IT systems for project management and documentation, and understand the economic and legal aspects of contracting activities. It is advantageous if you are familiar with older construction techniques such as timber, sheet metal work, and similar, have experience with Byggsamordnaren, and understand the significance of environmental issues in projects.

At the same time, you have a well-developed ability to organize and prioritize resources and tasks to achieve established quality and time goals. Additionally, we would like you to have a natural inclination for leadership, where you can inspire and motivate the team to achieve success through clear communication and encouragement.
