The home care service is based in Vänge and is responsible for a vast and beautiful rural district and its surroundings. There are good bus connections and parking opportunities.

In the position of nursing assistant, you will work with care and support based on the client's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions and always with a strong focus on quality. You will assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that everyone can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, or coming up with fun activities together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for part-time evening shifts for a permanent position with a probationary period with an employment rate of “60-75%”.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
• A driving license or the ability to cycle

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in home care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
