Vitas Group is a leading player in the HVAC industry, known for high quality, sustainability, and strong customer relationships. We are now looking for an operational buyer who wants to be a key player in ensuring that the right materials and products are in place – at the right time, at the right cost, and with the highest possible delivery precision to BL Stainless in Smålandstenar.

As an operational buyer, you will have daily responsibility for purchasing and supplier orders. You work closely with production, planning, warehousing, and suppliers to keep our flows efficient and our customers satisfied. The role is both operational and collaborative, where you are an important cultural bearer in the organization.

Your main responsibilities

• Place and follow up on purchase orders in the business system.
• Manage order confirmations, delivery dates, and discrepancies.
• Engage in dialogue and build long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure correct pricing tiers for cost-effective purchases.
• Handle complaints and backorders.
• Collaborate with planning and production to understand material needs and provide delivery information.
• Ensure accurate data in the system (prices, lead times, items, forecasts).

We would like you to 

• Have experience in operational purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Be structured, meticulous, and thrive in a role with many points of contact.
• Have good communication skills and can build relationships both internally and externally.
• Work proactively and dare to drive improvement work.
• Have experience working in business systems and good knowledge of Excel.
