We are now looking for a forestry manager who wants to be part of our team in forest care & supervision. In this role, you will work with and be responsible for the entire chain from planning to implementation and follow-up of forestry measures in the area. Our goal is to use the forest sustainably, striving for healthy forests today and for the next generation.
Here is a selection of tasks:
- Management and coordination of contractors and own staff working with forestry and forest care
- Make edits, selections, analyses, and compilations in our IT systems
- Actively work to achieve the goals for area, quality, cultural and nature conservation
- Participate in procurements related to forestry resources
- Strategic planning of forest care for the area
- Contact with authorities where you represent the company in consultations regarding action planning
- Contribute to budget work together with the forestry manager
We offer an exciting job with great variation in an environment characterized by cohesion, teamwork, and an open climate. You will report to the area manager for forest care and supervision. The position is located in Bollnäs.
Who are we looking for?
Since you will be responsible for our contractors, we are looking for someone who enjoys having a leadership role and has an interest in business. Your knowledge in the field is based on a forestry university education or equivalent competence, and you have at least a couple of years of professional experience in a relevant field. Your forestry knowledge and experience are important in order to lead, develop, prioritize, and make decisions.
Skills and qualifications that we believe you have:
- Experience in procurement is an advantage
- You take responsibility for setting goals and achieving results
- You have good communication skills where you are motivating, attentive, and clear
- You are a team player and have good collaboration skills
- You are driven by curiosity and a desire to develop
- Good computer skills
- Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driver's license B
As a person, you are analytical and solution-oriented. You enjoy working operationally where you, with your forestry knowledge and experience, dare to make a difference.
