About the Position We are now looking for an engaged and communicative Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) focused on electronics for our client, one of the world's leading industrial companies located in Västerås. In this role, you will work as a consultant through Wrknest on assignment at our client's site. There is a great chance for extension and long-term opportunities with our client.

In this role, you will be an important part of the quality work related to suppliers of electronic components, such as circuit boards and other critical parts. You will be part of a knowledgeable and close-knit team that works closely with both production support and operations quality. Here, you will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally with supplier quality and development.

Your Future Responsibilities

You will work closely with your colleagues in the team, where you together are responsible for ensuring quality from suppliers in the electronics area, as well as approving new articles and outcome samples. The role involves daily contact with suppliers in Europe, where you act as a requirement setter, problem solver, and quality guarantor.

Examples of tasks:

• Provide feedback to suppliers and demand actions for quality deficiencies
• Ensure root cause analysis (RCA) and verify actions according to 8D
• Manage approval of new articles and material samples
• Follow up and drive improvement projects related to quality and cost
• Manage supplier contacts within Europe, including some travel
• Participate in and follow up work related to PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans
• Use SAP as system support in daily work
• Participate in daily sequence meetings to identify risks and opportunities

We are looking for someone who

Has at least two years of experience working as an SQE or in a similar role within the industry – preferably with a focus on electronics. You have a good understanding of electronics production, such as circuit board manufacturing, component quality, and related quality processes.

You have previously worked with established quality methods such as 8D, RCA, DMAIC, PPAP, and FMEA, and have experience working with suppliers in Europe. Experience with ISO 9001 audits is an advantage.
