Tidaholm Wood Center is a subcontractor to Nobia in Jönköping, specializing in the manufacturing of components and painted details. In our factory in Tidaholm, we manufacture, treat surfaces, assemble, and deliver high-quality products. With over 100 years of experience in the industry and approximately 100 employees, we are a stable and committed player in the Swedish wood industry.

About the position

As an Electrical Technician with us, you will have significant responsibility for ensuring that our production equipment operates reliably, safely, and efficiently. You will work with both preventive and corrective maintenance and provide technical support to our repair technicians during more complex troubleshooting.

You will also participate in improvement projects, new equipment procurement, and monitoring maintenance-related goals. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the maintenance team, production, and electrical operations managers. You are a vital cog in our technical development.

We are looking for someone who:

Plans and is responsible for preventive electrical maintenance

Supports repair technicians during troubleshooting of electrical issues

Is responsible for documentation, spare parts, software, and backups related to electrical engineering

Can read, understand, and follow up on failure reports

Actively participates in improvement work within production

Contributes to new equipment procurement

Works with goal management and follows up on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to electrical engineering

Ensures that our machines comply with applicable electrical regulations in collaboration with the electrical manager

Is the electrical representative in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Solid and broad electrical engineering competence

Good understanding of maintenance economics in manufacturing industry

Ability to analyze and work systematically

Experience in spare parts management and documentation

Ability to follow safety regulations and workplace environment rules

Good knowledge of the Office suite

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred

Experience from a similar staff role within the industry

Knowledge of maintenance systems (API or similar)

Experience in business development and improvement work.

You will report to the Head of Maintenance. You will be part of a team of about 10 people.
