We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a mission within the aerospace and defense industry.

Are you an experienced procurement leader who wants to work strategically on technically advanced projects? We are now seeking a senior Strategic Sourcing Manager for an assignment with our client in the aerospace and defense industry. You will play a central role in business development and sourcing work with a focus on long-term supplier relationships and project management.

About the role

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will work with both business-driven and project-related procurement issues related to the client's aerospace products. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships and driving the procurement process in both new and ongoing projects.

You will lead the sourcing team in larger development initiatives and ensure that deliveries meet the established requirements for quality, cost, and time. The role requires a strong internal and external network as well as a process improvement-oriented approach.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

At least 8 years of experience in strategic procurement and business development within technically complex operations.

Relevant academic degree (e.g., engineering, MBA, law).

Documented experience in leading procurement within larger development projects.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Experienced in working with long-term supplier strategies and relationship building.

Strong collaboration skills and initiative.

Languages

Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
