The Opportunity

Power & Industry Components, a business unit within Hitachi Energy in Ludvika, consists of Surge Arresters and Capacitors. At Surge Arresters in Ludvika, we produce and sell surge protectors. New products are developed here, and the markets exist both in Sweden and other parts of the world. A surge arrester protects against overvoltages and is an essential part of a reliable and energy-efficient power system. At Capacitors, we assemble customized medium and high-voltage capacitors for reactive power compensation and harmonic filtering, as well as manufacture DC capacitors for HVDC applications worldwide.

As we are now in an expansion phase and increasing our production, we are looking for a warehouse and material handler to join our team at Capacitors. As a warehouse and material handler, you will be responsible for goods reception and handling of materials in stock for production. The position is initially daytime but will eventually transition to two shifts with weekends. To succeed in this role, you should be meticulous and structured, and enjoy working both independently and in a team. How you will make an impact

  • You will be responsible for goods reception, input, and control of received materials.
  • Your tasks will also include handling materials in stock such as order picking, inventory, taking care of materials, and replenishing materials to various production departments.
  • The work will also involve driving forklifts and pallet trucks.
  • You share Hitachi Energy’s core values regarding safety and integrity, which means you take responsibility for your own actions while also feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • You hold a forklift license for counterbalance forklifts and pallet trucks.
  • As a person, we see that you are structured, flexible, and can take significant personal responsibility.
  • We see that you are communicative and appreciate working both independently and in a group.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with forklift driving and previous warehouse work is an advantage.
  • Experience with the SAP business system is also advantageous.

As a person, you are meticulous and have a structured working method while keeping order and tidiness around you. You are organized and driven, with a desire to develop.
