We are now looking for a Senior Project Procurement Officer for an assignment with our client in Lund. About the role

As a Project Procurement Officer, you will:

• Support the establishment and follow-up of a common procurement and contract plan for technical projects.

• Coordinate central functions to ensure documentation is in place for procurements and verify that documented readiness and involvement from relevant stakeholders and functions are in place before the process begins.

• Participate in contract management, follow-up on deliveries, and support system owners.

• Conduct bidding procedures for NSS projects in accordance with the company's procurement rules.

• Be a key person in collaboration with NSS Vendor Management and other technical and administrative units.

  Other common tasks include:

  • Plan and lead procurement activities, including bidding processes, negotiations, and contract management – and if necessary, also close procurements.

  • Review and improve technical procurement documents and other contractual documents to ensure they are complete, relevant, and well thought out.

  • Work closely with technology, finance, and quality departments to coordinate and ensure effective and uniform procurement routines.

  • Be responsible for the entire procurement process – from documentation preparation to bid opening, evaluation, and recommendation for award.

  • Negotiate contract terms and develop purchasing agreements in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Establish standardized purchase orders and contracts in line with the project's and organization's needs.

  • Collaborate with technical managers and other departments to ensure that contracts are managed correctly throughout their lifecycle.

  • Ensure that procurement documents and cases are archived correctly and that records are updated and easily accessible.

  • Contribute to developing and strengthening the procurement function and represent the organization in external forums such as conferences, seminars, and workshops.

We are looking for someone who has:

• 5–10 years of experience in procurement for larger projects
• At least 5 years with advanced, preferably international procurements
• At least 5 years of documented experience in public procurement and good knowledge of EU directives
• At least 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating procurement contracts (for goods, services, and consultants) as well as advising on contract management issues.
• Relevant university degree (law, economics, engineering, or similar)
• Fluent English and Swedish in speech and writing
• Preferred if you have experience with Kommers, Unit4, HxGN EAM as well as knowledge in customs, VAT, and tax
