Our Operations

Danderydsgeriatriken specializes in managing both acute and chronic illnesses in elderly patients with multiple health issues.

The clinic has around 160 employees distributed across two inpatient wards and a day care unit (GADVA) that works very closely with the emergency department. We also have an outpatient clinic for memory assessments. Here, you will gain experience in many medical fields, such as internal medicine, cardiology, infection, surgery, and orthopedics.

Job Description

We are looking for someone interested in working with patients with multiple health issues in a well-functioning multiprofessional team. The work mainly consists of daytime ward work and, to some extent, evening work. The job also includes independent night shifts and weekend shifts with support from on-call specialists at home, as well as shifts in the medical emergency department. We offer a broad temporary position with good supervision and close collaboration with specialist doctors. We have engaged employees, an open work climate, job satisfaction, and a good working environment. We have regular teaching sessions twice a week with a wide range of topics. A temporary position with us provides a broad and solid foundation for AT and further medical practice.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a medical degree and who is a licensed physician. We prefer candidates who have previously worked in healthcare.

Personal Attributes

We place great importance on personal qualities. It is important that you are easy to collaborate with and work in a multiprofessional team with the patient at the center. Flexibility and good communication skills are essential. You should also be able to work independently but, of course, with experienced colleagues as support.
