to apply for the job

Just north of Stockholm, in Bålsta, SGDS Gruppen is building one of Europe's most modern warehouses for smart and efficient logistics of products for the construction industry. Dahl and Optimera's customers will be served through the new central warehouse. Since logistics, product availability, and correct timing are important, SGDS Gruppen's warehouse will be a flexible omnichannel warehouse that will manage all of our approximately 180 stores across Sweden, some of which are unmanned. The warehouse will also handle the growing digital trade via websites and EDI. Deliveries usually occur the day after ordering.

As the industry continues to expand, they will handle building materials for all needs within plumbing, heating, cooling, industrial, and property sectors. In the new warehouse, around 350 colleagues will work, and it will be a place where everyone feels comfortable. Therefore, it will be well thought out and well-equipped with a stimulating work environment, safety, comfortable dining and break areas, exercise, rest, work, and meeting spaces.

The Assignment

We at Libera are now looking for new colleagues for the role of warehouse worker at SGDS's new warehouse in Bålsta. We are targeting both those who have previous experience in logistics operations and those from other industries who are curious about a career in one of the world's most expansive fields – logistics.  As a warehouse employee at SGDS, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for incoming deliveries, order picking, and loading. The work involves some classic tasks such as forklift driving and physical work, but also less physical tasks such as monitoring the flow and the robots in your department.  Your responsibilities include:

  • Registration of incoming goods in the business system
  • Checking delivery against the delivery note
  • Picking and packing
  • Process monitoring in the automated logistics flow
  • Supporting the replenishment of incoming goods and internal forklift transports
  • Meeting set goals, both personal and group goals

Working hours are mainly during the day (Mon-Fri), but there is also the possibility of a schedule that is set for afternoons/evenings.

Who You Are

We see that you who are applying are driven, self-sufficient, and thrive in operations governed by delivery precision. Collaboration with colleagues is important for the work and for well-being, so your personal qualities matter a lot.  We are looking for someone who is efficient and meticulous with an interest in both practical and administrative tasks.

Since a large part of the operation is automated, we would like you to have a technical interest and be quick to learn new systems and processes. If you have a forklift license, we see it as an advantage; otherwise, forklift training will be provided before starting.  We would also prefer you to have previous experience in warehouse or production work, but experience in other technical professions and retail or service jobs is also considered a merit.

We are working towards an even gender distribution and therefore welcome female applicants for this position.

This position is part of Libera's rental operations towards customers with the possibility of takeover by the customer. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Welcome with your application!
