We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end construction execution of large‑scale data centre (and complex commercial) projects—from tender through commissioning—owning safety, quality, schedule and budget while coordinating engineering, procurement, contracts administration and subcontractor performance.

Role Responsibilities

· Own construction delivery from pre‑construction/tender through handover, integrating the construction plan with the master programme, resourcing and site logistics.

· Drive safety culture and compliance; ensure robust method statements, risk assessments and quality control procedures (QCPs) are in place and audited.

· Lead daily site operations, subcontractor management and interface control across civil, structural, architectural and MEP trades; resolve technical queries and blockers quickly.

· Manage contract administration (RFI/CO/claims), commercial change, and cost/schedule reporting; keep executive stakeholders updated with clear KPIs and progress metrics.

· Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement and Commercial teams on constructability reviews, tender evaluations, supplier selection and negotiation.

· Enforce documentation standards (drawings, submittals, ITPs, test records) and ensure commissioning readiness, quality sign‑off and smooth client handover.

· Champion continuous improvement in procedures, lessons learned and contractor performance management across a multi‑project portfolio.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Construction related Degree

Experience

· Previous construction delivery experience with a strong track record in mission‑critical or data centre new builds (multi‑phase programmes), plus mixed‑use/commercial projects.

· Proven leadership of large, multi‑disciplinary site teams and Tier‑1/Tier‑2 subcontractors across international environments (UK, EMEA).

· Comfortable representing the business at senior level, resolving technical and contractual issues and maintaining schedule and budget discipline.
