We are currently looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant in Lidingö and surrounding areas!

 The client is a man in his 30s with autism. This client needs help and support in his daily life. This means that your tasks include finding fun activities with the client and assisting with personal care such as personal hygiene, as well as interpreting the client and helping him with communication. Training is an important part of this client's daily life. The client also loves animals.  As a personal assistant in this assignment, you will work in the client's home. You who apply for this position are a warm-hearted and responsible person who dares to take space. It is very important that you do not have any back problems and have a good basic fitness as you will be helping the client with transfers throughout the day. It is an advantage if you have experience and knowledge of working in a low-affect manner, education/or experience in working with care and support.

What does the job of a personal assistant entail? 

As a personal assistant, you work with a person with a functional variation. There, you help with the things in everyday life that many take for granted, such as dressing, taking care of the home, personal hygiene, and participating in leisure activities. You make a big difference and help another person's daily life to function.

We have clients of different ages and with different functional variations. Your workplace is where the client is, and the job is both varied and eventful. Contributing every day to a person being able to live their life as they wish is, in our opinion, the world's most important job. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. Regardless of your age, life situation, and background, you could be just the assistant we are looking for.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.
• be able to work flexible hours - day, evening, weekend, possibly night.
• have experience in care and support. (This is a plus, but not a requirement).

Other information

Employment type: 2 positions. One fixed-term employment and one on-call employment. 

Scope: Part-time.

Start date: By agreement.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
