We are now looking for an independent and experienced accountant for an international company in Solna. This is a permanent position, with start as soon as possible, but we will of course take into account any notice period.

About the position

You will be part of a team of about ten people. The role is broad and independent – it is particularly important that you are confident in the entire accounting process, including year-end closing, and that you have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas.

You are expected to take responsibility and drive the work forward, which makes experience and initiative crucial.

You will partly be responsible for the company's operations in Finland. This means that you will not complete a full year-end closing according to Finnish regulations, but you need to be able to handle invoicing, cost allocation, and bookkeeping at the right level. An understanding of branch and subsidiary structures is an advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ongoing accounting and bookkeeping
• Independent monthly and year-end closing work
• Invoicing 
• Management of customer agreements (review, registration, dispatch)
• Review sales agreements to ensure that the terms are reasonable and within mandate
• Contact with external accounting firms in countries where local expertise is required
• Follow-up and controls of leasing agreements and other customer contracts

The position is approximately 50% accounting and 50% contract management.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3–5 years of experience in qualified accounting
• Is independent in year-end closing 
• Has good system skills and works fluently in Excel
• Speaks and writes very good English in addition to Swedish
• Good knowledge of Finnish
• Is meticulous, responsible, and used to driving work independently
• Has experience in reading contracts and familiarizing yourself with new regulations
