We are looking for you to help develop care at Björnö!

At Björnö nursing home, we are now looking for three nursing assistants who want to take on an extended responsibility as planning responsible. In this role, you will work 80-90% as a nursing assistant on the floor and 10-15% as planning responsible - a perfect combination for you who want to develop and take the next step in your career without leaving the close care work.

About the position

As planning responsible, you will be the extended arm of the group management on the floor. You will ensure the quality of the daily work, support your colleagues, and be an important link between staff and management. The role means that you keep track of what is happening on the department and can step in and support when the group leaders are absent.

Your main tasks:

• Ensure the daily planning of care, cleaning, and laundry
• Support and guide colleagues in their daily work
• Follow up on the contact person role and ensure that all residents have updated implementation plans
• Lead planning meetings together with the operations manager and group leaders to ensure information flow
• Plan and follow up on the introduction of new employees
• Be a quality and documentation representative
• Coordinate move-ins together with the contact person
• Observe and report areas for improvement to management
• Step in and take overall responsibility in the absence of group leaders

We are looking for you who have:

Requirements:

• Nursing assistant education
• At least 5 years of experience in elderly care
• Documented experience of having had extended responsibility for planning the department/floor
• Experience in leading daily work in the absence of group leaders
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills and familiarity with documentation systems

Meritorious:

• Experience as a contact person
• Previous experience in quality work
• Experience in mentoring new employees
• Knowledge of Humana's routines and working methods
