Coordinator for Yards and Roads at Scania IM

We are now looking for an engaged and collaborative Coordinator for our unit within yards and roads at Scania Industrial Maintenance (IM). We are looking for someone with a strong interest in coordinating and managing resources to ensure workflow and quality maintenance.

About the role

As a Coordinator with us, you will have a leadership role within yards and roads, and your primary responsibility is to lead and plan the operational part of the business by coordinating and prioritizing resources. You must also be prepared to step in and operate or perform other operational tasks when needed. The work involves leading the team as well as managing the workflow in the business system Maximo. You will work closely with our customers at Scania and production.

Your tasks

Your overall mission is to actively plan, assign, and follow up on work orders and other tasks to achieve the overall goals of the business. In your daily work, you will prioritize resources based on the current situation. It is your responsibility to ensure the quality of the delivery and that shift handovers are done professionally. When the group manager is not present, you will lead weekly meetings and similar in their place. You will work on efficiency through annual planning and, if necessary, coordinate urgent tasks. Through your work, you contribute to order and tidiness (5s) and ensure that our business goals are met. You participate and engage in creating a good and pleasant work environment, and you are of course an active participant in our work with continuous improvements.

Your profile

We are looking for a collaborative, structured, and stable person who has experience and driving skills with various heavy vehicles, such as tractors/wheel loaders/forklifts/sweepers. To succeed in this role, you have good communication skills and adapt to find win-win solutions. You enjoy working systematically with processes, which enables you to handle stress constructively. You take initiative and drive your tasks all the way to completion.

We also see that you have:

• A technical education at the high school level or previous experience in maintenance and logistics.
• Driving skills with various heavy vehicles, such as tractors/wheel loaders/forklifts.
• Experience working with the business system Maximo is an advantage.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English.
• Category B driving license; forklift and C license are advantageous.
• The ability to plan and coordinate workflow as well as coordinate, lead, and train employees and vehicle operation.

Additional information

The position is full-time, permanent, and located in Södertälje. The position is during daytime, but on-call duty and work during inconvenient hours may occur.
