We are looking for a technical specialist in building construction for Trafikverket, stationed in either Stockholm, Nyköping, Norrköping, or Linköping.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is part-time, with an estimated workload of 30%.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The assignment concerns a resource consultant within the technical area of building construction within the Ostlänken Program, unit Technology, Environment, and Property, function Technology. The consultant will work as a resource reinforcement in the client's project organization.

About the Ostlänken Program

The Ostlänken Program is a 160 km long double-track railway between Järna and Linköping. The project enables more trains, sustainable transport, smoother travel, and larger labor market regions. With 11 ongoing projects in the multi-billion class, the Ostlänken Program is one of Sweden's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. Trafikverket is currently in an exciting phase with several procurements underway.

Scope of the Assignment

• The consultant will work with the technical area of building construction within the unit Technology, Environment, and Property, which supports all project units within the Ostlänken Program.
• If necessary, the consultant will also assist other central units within the Ostlänken Program, within the framework of the specified workload.
• An important part of the assignment is to transfer knowledge to Trafikverket's employees regarding the tasks performed by the consultant.

Job Responsibilities

• The consultant supports the projects and their project management during the implementation of planning, design, and construction by ensuring that documents meet established technical, sustainable, and functional requirements.
• The consultant participates in the work of specifying requirements within their technical area and following up on these.
• The consultant supports technical questions and performs review and control of documents.
• The consultant participates in various types of meetings, both within the projects and in the unit Technology, Environment, and Property.
• The consultant assists projects in technical matters regarding deviations and exemption cases.
• The consultant participates in the procurement of design consultants and contractors, for example, in the preparation of assignment descriptions, requirement specifications, scope assessments, and in the evaluation of suppliers.
• The consultant continuously works for continuous improvements through feedback and contributes to collaboration with adjacent technical areas.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

1. Bachelor's degree of 180 credits (120 points) with a technical focus in Building Technology or other education in combination with experience deemed equivalent by the client.

2. At least ten (10) years of experience working in the role of designer or project manager in the field of building construction.

3. At least two (2) years of experience working in the role of designer or project manager in the field of building construction, in projects in public environments with public buildings* and/or in railway environments. The experience must have been acquired in the last ten years.

*Public buildings are defined as transport hubs, shopping centers/trade areas, libraries, and schools or buildings deemed equivalent by the client.

4. Good knowledge of AMA HUS, BBR, BFS/EKS.

5. Good knowledge of the use of software in the Microsoft Office suite.

6. Can express themselves well in spoken and written Swedish and English.
