Yamaha Motor Scandinavia is part of the Yamaha Corporation. The company is the general agent for all of the group's motor products, including motorcycles, outboard motors, ATVs, accessories, and spare parts in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, as well as Iceland, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands. The products represent a significant part of the European market for outboard motors, motorcycles, and ATVs. The company also markets and sells the boats Finnmaster, Jeanneau, and Husky. The company is distributed across three offices in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

About the role

As a project-leading coordinator, you will have a central role in our development project, where you will be responsible for keeping everything together, monitoring timelines, and ensuring that all resources are in the right place at the right time. You do not need to be an expert on our products, but you should have a technical interest and a desire to understand our solutions.

You will have many different points of contact, both internally and with external stakeholders, to ensure that the project is completed according to plan. The role also involves some work with procurement and risk management. You will be stationed at Yamaha's headquarters in Nacka, Stockholm.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Planning, driving, and following up according to set time and cost frameworks
  • Managing logistics and delivery flows related to the current project
  • Identifying and managing project and delivery risks

Your profile

To match the role, we believe you have a background in project management and an understanding of flows. Qualifications

  • Experience in leading or coordinating projects
  • A post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge
  • You need to be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

  • Basic knowledge of vehicles and technical systems
  • Experience or understanding of public procurement
  • Knowledge of other Nordic languages

Application and start date This is an assignment initially for one year with good chances of extension, starting at the end of August. The assignment is full-time with working hours scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. You will receive a secure employment with Starfinder and a consultant manager who will be by your side along the way.
