Are you ready to take the next step in your career and manage a strong and well-established product range within Automotive? Motonet is now looking for a Category Manager focused on vehicles, spare parts, and accessories, who will be responsible for and further develop an existing range – with the goal of optimizing, streamlining, and future-proofing our offerings to customers. 

You will be part of the Swedish management team and work closely with colleagues in both Sweden and Finland. The role involves responsibility for your product category – which includes profit and loss responsibility with involvement in purchasing, assortment strategies, and supplier contacts – with a strong focus on boosting sales both online and in stores.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop an existing product range within Automotive (cars, motorcycles, ATVs, etc.)
• Analyze and optimize the product offering based on seasonality, demand, and geographical needs
• Overall responsibility for sales and profitability within the category
• Negotiate and follow up on supplier agreements in collaboration with Finnish colleagues
• Work with purchasing, pricing strategies, and product data
• Create and review marketing and campaign materials
• Monitor and analyze competitors within the category
• Manage inventory control, lifecycle management, and product replenishment
• Participate in the ongoing establishment and development of Motonet in Sweden

What We Are Looking For

• Solid experience in retail, preferably within Automotive
• Experience in purchasing, assortment management, and commercial goals
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and driving assortment development
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 1–2 days a week within Sweden and the Nordic countries
• Analytical, business-driven, and solution-oriented
• Unpretentious and flexible – enjoys both strategic and operational work
• Takes initiative and drives issues independently
• Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change
