We are now looking for more Security and Duty Operators to our SOS central in Sundsvall.

Your daily life as an SOS operator

"One of the most fun things about this job is that no day is the same as the other." In the role of SOS operator within Security and Duty Services, you handle and respond to incoming calls regarding various types of fault reports for properties, municipalities, and private customers. Additionally, it includes receiving and addressing various types of alarms, such as burglary/assault alarms and operational alarms, etc. It is an exciting and developing job.

The work is often conducted at a high pace, and those seeking help are always the focus. The work takes place at the SOS central in Sundsvall, where you sit in an open environment together with colleagues. As an SOS operator, you have a round-the-clock position with the opportunity to influence your own schedule.

We are looking for you

You enjoy helping other people - that is the most important thing! We assume that you always want to help those who call in and handle the conversation from start to finish. You are secure in yourself, flexible, and decisive regardless of which call you are handling. The role involves collaboration with colleagues and external actors, which requires you to have good teamwork skills. You are a friendly, fearless, and attentive person who finds it easy to talk to people. Furthermore, you are empathetic and professional while collaborating and taking responsibility in your professional role.

Since SOS Alarms operates 24/7, as an SOS operator, you have a round-the-clock position, which means you work days/evenings/nights and weekends. This means that you cannot choose to work only days, evenings, or nights; all shifts occur.

We wish that you

• Have at least three years of work experience, preferably with phone experience
• Speak and write Swedish fluently
• Speak English fluently and are comfortable communicating in English
• Have good computer skills and enjoy working in various and complex systems
• Have good multitasking ability as the job requires you to handle several tasks at the same time

The position is full-time. We apply a 6-month probationary period.

SOS Alarm conducts security assessments with background checks on its staff according to the requirements of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). A check according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies is also performed and is active during the employment period. A drug test without remarks is a prerequisite for employment. The position also involves military placement at SOS Alarm.
