Mitta AB works with a variety of services in the environmental field. Many of our environmental assignments stand out as being technical in nature and spread across several areas of expertise, allowing us to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients.

We are now looking for a junior or senior environmental consultant in contaminated areas to join our environmental department, which currently consists of 9 people. We seek someone who wants to contribute to the development of the company and themselves while delivering comprehensive solutions to our clients, primarily in the construction sector.

As an environmental consultant with us, you have great opportunities to develop and take on more responsibility in your professional role.

We are looking for someone with at least a bachelor's degree in a natural science field and an interest in technology and the environment. It is advantageous if you have worked for one or more years with contaminated areas, preferably on the consulting side, are trained or certified as a sampler in one or all media, and have good knowledge of the Environmental Code.

A driver's license (B) is required, and you must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as we place high importance on communication skills in our assignments, both written and oral.

Your responsibilities:

As an environmental consultant, you will work on assignments primarily in contaminated areas. The work involves a mix of office work and fieldwork, including environmental technical soil investigations, risk assessments, and other investigations in contaminated areas. Since the position includes sampling in the field and client visits, travel to some extent and overnight stays in other locations may be required. Since some parts of the work do not necessarily need to be done in the office, the position allows for some remote work.
