We are now looking for someone who wants to help build the internal sales function at a growing tech company. Previously, sales were outsourced to partners, but the function has now been brought in-house with the ambition to establish a stable and successful internal sales department. The company has offices in Sweden, England, and the USA, so for the right person, this may also involve opportunities for international work if there is interest and ambition for it. This role is suitable for you who love meeting new people, are good at sales, and thrive in a dynamic work environment!
Location: Based in Stockholm (Travel is included in the position, you will travel to various projects in Sweden and stay overnight. Accommodation, car, and transportation will be covered by the employer) Desired start: August Scope: Full-time Salary: Base salary + commission
About the team & role As a Construction Salesperson, you are the company's local presence in the final stage of the sales phase – before the company builds the fiber network in an area. You go door to door, informing residents that the project is about to start, answering questions, and offering them a last chance to join. Your efforts ensure that more households gain access to future infrastructure – while maximizing the project's profitability. Main responsibilities
- Visit households in areas where fiber expansion is about to begin
- Inform about the project and answer questions from residents
- Offer last-minute fiber connections – and handle orders
- Document visits and update CRM or order systems
- Collaborate closely with project managers and construction teams to maintain timing
- Follow up on expressions of interest and previous dialogues
About you We see that you have:
- Experience in field sales, door-to-door sales, event or retail sales – preferably to private individuals
- Driver's license
- Ability to work in other locations during the week
- Used to working towards clear goals and results
- Good ability to build trust in meetings with people
- Technical understanding of broadband/fiber is a plus – but not a requirement
To both fit and thrive in this role, we see that you enjoy talking to new people and are comfortable working independently in the field. You do not give up after a “no” but have perseverance and patience. You are structured and meticulous in your follow-up and are results-driven and competitive.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Previous sales experience in fiber, energy, or subscriptions
- Familiarity with CRM systems or sales apps
- Experience in handling objections and adapting your message to the target group
- Local knowledge of the relevant area
