About the Position

We are looking for welders for the repair and maintenance of heavy construction and mining machinery in our workshop in Pajala.

The position includes not only welding but also performing tasks with drilling tools; if you lack previous experience in this area, there is an opportunity for training within the company. As a welder with us, you will enjoy great variety and get to do everything related to welding.

The starting point is in Pajala, but you will work in the field at our operations located throughout northern Sweden and Finland.

The Profile We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with technical vocational training or similar experience from previous jobs. It is a requirement to be able to weld MIG/MAG and MMA. If you can weld TIG, it is an advantage. Licenses are meritorious but not necessary. You also need to have good physical condition to handle the sometimes physically demanding work.

To be considered for the position, you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Working Hours and Salary

Working Hours: 7/7 Tuesday-Monday morning shift

Salary: According to collective agreement with IF Metall, the mining contracting agreement.

Employment Conditions: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.
