Do you enjoy working preventively and possess a genuine technical and mechanical interest? Are you curious and driven, feeling ready for new challenges as a mechanic at SMA Mineral? We are now looking for a new colleague to join our close-knit team working with refining lime.

At SMA Mineral, we work with great drive and commitment in an organization with short decision-making processes, where a safe working environment is a guiding principle. As a mechanic at SMA, you will work in a wonderful team consisting of a mix of mechanics and operators, ensuring the smooth operation together. Working hours are during the day between 7-16, Monday to Friday.

We see that the person we are looking for has experience working in a workshop environment or industry with repairs of technical equipment. Perhaps you also have experience in repairing electric motors, changing bearings, or assembling bearings? The tasks are varied and can range from commissioning new equipment to performing service and maintenance. In our preventive and corrective maintenance, tasks such as lubrication, electrical/mechanical work, filter changes, measuring limits, and operator work occur. SMA Mineral applies individual training programs as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Technical interest
• Basic computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Relevant experience (mechanics, heavy industry, or similar)
• Any type of technical education, including high school
• Experience in welding
• Knowledge of Finnish
