Social and Labor Market Administration

The Social and Labor Market Administration is one of seven administrations in Östersund Municipality. The administration is the professional support of the Social and Labor Market Committee and is responsible for support to families and individuals. The administration has approximately 300 employees and is organized into three sectors: Open Care Sector, Child and Adult Sector, and Competence Work Support Sector. The Child and Adult Sector consists of 7 units and is responsible for children and adults in need of support and protection.

Your New Job

We are now looking for an administrative management support for the Child and Adult Sector.

As management support, you will have a varied and responsible role where you relieve managers of their administrative tasks.

Common Tasks

Your tasks will vary based on the needs of the managers but may include:

• Administration of routines
• Administering multiple IT systems
• Assisting managers in recruitment work
• Bookings and orders of various services
• Time and absence reporting
• Secretarial tasks
• Meetings and room bookings
• Ordering refreshments
• Taking notes at meetings
• Website updates
• Support during procurements

The tasks are performed in various IT systems such as Heroma, e-sumit, Canea, and Office 365.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and meticulous, and you must be able to solve unforeseen tasks. You have good collaboration skills while being self-driven and taking your own initiatives. It is natural for you to want to provide good service in your contacts, which requires you to be unpretentious and solution-oriented. We offer a varied and enjoyable job where great importance is placed on flexibility and personal suitability. In addition to the managers you support, you will have the two other management supports within the administration as support in your work.

Requirements

• You have a high school education and several years of experience in administrative work.
• You have good computer skills, experience working with digital tools and IT-based systems.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

We would like you to have worked with administrative tasks within social services and have an understanding of the social services operational area.
