At Academic Work, we are looking for a driven engineer on behalf of our client who wants to be part of a dynamic and flexible work environment. Our client is an established supplier in the automotive industry and has its office in Lindholmen, Gothenburg, where a small team of fewer than ten people works. The team consists of engineers in similar roles as well as employees in other functions, creating an inspiring and collaborative work environment.

The workplace is characterized by a high degree of personal responsibility, great flexibility, and a positive balance between office work and practical efforts out in the field, primarily in Torslanda. The role is therefore dynamic, and you will move between office landscapes and the field. The role also involves some travel, both within Sweden and internationally. During the introduction, you will also have the opportunity to travel within Europe to meet colleagues from other teams. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

You will primarily work with door and seat handling in this position. There are regulations regarding how the products should be handled, and most testing takes place at the customer's site. Some of the tasks involved are as follows:

• Testing and troubleshooting
• Parameterization
• Positioning
• Coordinating and leading meetings internally and externally
• Technical support to the customer

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a relevant, at least 3-year post-secondary education (e.g., in mechanics, electronics, or machinery)
• Has some experience and understanding of the production industry
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English
• Has a B driver's license
• Is communicative and can work directly with the customer

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience working in production, primarily within automotive

Knowledge can be obtained through education, experience, or being self-taught.
