Ersta elderly homes are part of Ersta diakoni and operate a total of eight elderly homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a safe and enriching everyday life, with activities, community, and good and enjoyable meals. With us, everyone should feel at home!

Ednahemmet has 60 apartments spread over two floors and is located close to nature with a lush garden and its own orangery in Hästhagen, Nacka. About the role

In the role of nursing assistant, you will work closely with residents, relatives, leaders, and other care staff. You and your colleagues plan the workday based on the individual needs and wishes of the residents. Creating a sense of home and a meaningful everyday life for those who live with us are important parts of the job. We focus on person-centered care, activities, care meals, and key worker responsibility.

The working hours are scheduled, day and evening shifts, and weekend work every other weekend (weekly working hours are 37 hours).

The position is 83%.

Your experience 

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained nursing assistant at the high school level or has equivalent adult education • has previous experience working in a nursing home • has good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form as well as good computer skills.
