What does the job of a care assistant/nursing assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care entail?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in elderly people, where your main tasks are to provide safe and secure personal care and support. You will assist the residents in their daily lives and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday life. As a care assistant, you are responsible for providing the residents with good care and support of high quality in accordance with what has been agreed with the residents in the care plan.

About Sannagården Elderly Home

Welcome to Sannagården, an elderly home located in Tvååker in Varberg. The facility is surrounded by a pleasant residential area and green spaces with walking paths and nice promenades. Nearby, there are shops, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores. Sannagården comprises 30 apartments distributed across four units, one of which is focused on dementia care. Each unit has a reception kitchen, dining room, living room, and a balcony/patio facing the facility's inner courtyard. In the common areas of the units, we socialize, have meals, and carry out activities. In our quiet inner courtyard, we offer outdoor stays and organize outdoor activities, etc.

• You need to have proof of the right to use the job title nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Previous experience in care and support is an advantage
• You need to have good documentation skills
• You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• We prefer that you have good computer skills/computer familiarity

Employment type: Hourly employment

Start date: By agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
