As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful life in their old age. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the resident's apartment. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's a very exciting job!

 About Vidhöge elderly home

Welcome to Vidhöge, an elderly home located in Veddige in Varberg. The facility is near Ramstorps farm and Ramstorps preschool and is surrounded by beautiful green areas. In the vicinity, there is a health center, pharmacy, and grocery store.

Vidhöge comprises 20 apartments distributed over two units. We have a shared kitchen, dining room, living room, and a terrace facing the facility's courtyard. In the common areas of the units, we socialize, have meals, and carry out activities. On our quiet terrace, we offer outdoor stays and organize outdoor activities, etc.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is highly meritorious if you have nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We appreciate good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Scope: Hourly employment

Start date: according to agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
