What will you be working on?

In your role as an energy engineer at Coor, you will create economic, energy-efficient, and environmentally interesting solutions for our clients. You will provide our clients with expertise in energy and sustainability-related issues.

Your role as an energy engineer means that you have a broad competence in both energy systems and the energy market as the work meets a variety of different customer needs and inquiries. You will primarily be responsible for developing energy efficiency measures within your portfolio, mainly in the public sector, but you may also work with other clients in areas such as industry, real estate, and more. You will work on smaller and larger energy projects with some project management responsibilities.

In this role, you will conduct energy analyses and energy balance calculations and propose energy efficiency measures for the client's properties. You will work broadly within the entire energy field and use your creativity to find the best technical and economic solutions for each client.

Your main tasks:

• Lead the energy work for our client Region Gävleborg
• Investigate technical systems in properties and provide improvement suggestions to clients
• Analyze the set parameters and functions of the technical systems
• Follow up and analyze energy usage
• Propose and act as expert support during the implementation of energy-saving measures and updates of the technical systems
• Maintain daily contact with clients and colleagues
• Contribute expert knowledge during the sales of new assignments
• Participate in various energy-related networks and forums
• Contribute to sustainability projects for clients

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you need to have relevant post-secondary education and at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role. If you have a master's degree and/or are a university engineer in the energy field and have project management experience, this is considered highly meritorious and may reduce the requirement for years of work experience. We expect you to have good knowledge of the climate technical systems of properties and a broad understanding of energy, plumbing, and HVAC. Additionally, you have a strong business interest and understanding of the consulting industry and project economics. Being a certified energy auditor is highly meritorious.

It is important that you have a good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English. We believe in a flexible work environment where you have a lot of freedom under responsibility, and you manage your time between the office and clients with remote work. Your office location will primarily be at Coor's office at either Gävle Hospital or Hudiksvall Hospital, as agreed upon at hiring. Travel to other sites will occur, and the sites are spread throughout the Gävleborg region. Travel is planned by yourself. There may also be a need for travel to other clients outside the Gävleborg region. A driver's license is required, and a company car is included.
