UMS SKELDAR is developing an unmanned helicopter to support marine, military, and public safety operations. We have a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with an entrepreneurial spirit. We are now looking for a new colleague to join the production team focusing on the ground station for our Skeldar V200 system! Upcoming customer deliveries and new contracts mean we need to strengthen the team further with an assembler who has an interest in electrical assembly and thrives in a role where collaboration is key.

As an assembler with us:

You will be part of the Production Department, which consists of 13 people with roles such as logistics, production planners, material planners, and technicians. The team has overall responsibility for production, which includes planning and building helicopters and ground stations. You will start your position by shadowing one of our technicians who also focuses on assembling the ground station. As you become more self-sufficient, you will have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and eventually be able to perform all tasks independently.

In the role of Assembler in Production, you will:

• Assemble ground stations and other related equipment for Skeldar V200
• Work on electrical assembly in the form of connections and wiring
• Perform functional tests and troubleshoot various parts of the system
• Conduct software installations
• Work according to instructions and drawings
• Contribute to the development of production operations and our working methods, as well as work on continuous improvements.

As the department works closely with our flight organization and their helicopter technicians, you will also collaborate closely with these colleagues and provide support in their areas as needed.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have several years of work experience in assembly, electrical, or telecommunications. You are accustomed to reading drawings and work instructions. Experience with assembly tasks on complex products is an advantage.

The position requires a high level of proficiency in both English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

The position requires a B driver's license, and it is advantageous if you have a truck driver's license.
