Avarn Security is tasked with delivering personnel security services to the Saab Group in Sweden and abroad. The delivery is a significant part of a coordinated security delivery with Avarn Security's security and technology organization.

The coordinated security delivery is one of Sweden's most complex, dynamic, and visible assignments with nationwide customer responsibility for the group.

Job Responsibilities:

As a security guard, you will work in many different environments with very varied tasks such as staffing entrance receptions, ensuring that no unauthorized persons have access to protected objects, and patrolling. This includes both armed and unarmed services.

Qualities We Are Looking For:

You want to work with creating safety and have a natural ability to combine service with a pronounced security mindset. You are meticulous and structured in your work approach as there may be some administrative work involved. We are looking for security-conscious and service-oriented employees with an inner sense of security, maturity, and a natural drive to help. Great importance is placed on communication and collaboration skills as this assignment involves a lot of contact with both customers, contractors, and visitors. Personal qualities are what determine the best fit for the assignment. We place great importance on your ability to work in a team, but we also expect you to independently identify and solve problems.

Requirements for Applicants:

• Civil security guard training (or military security guard training, completed from 2020 or later)
• No criminal record
• Drug-free
• High school diploma
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Good health and physical condition
• Organized finances

Desirable Qualifications:

• Guard training (VU1 + VU2)
• Weapon training
• Driver's license B
• Previous experience in service occupations

** If you have completed security guard training during military basic training, it is also valid for civilian use. The training must have been completed in 2016 or later, and the training certificate must not be older than 5 years. If you have security guard training through the Armed Forces without military basic training, you need to complete a shortened security guard training to work as a civil security guard.
