As an Airport Officer in security control, you play an important role in ensuring that our travelers have a positive experience at the airport and during their travels. This is a part-time position with shift work, which means you will work uncomfortable hours in the early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

What does the role entail?

As an Airport Officer in security control, your main task is to check passengers and their luggage while conveying a sense of security and creating a pleasant start to the journey.

Since we work integrated at the airport, we also support other processes, such as staffing at check-in counters or out on the ramp during aircraft arrivals and departures. We provide basic training for the work you will perform before starting the position.

This is an intermittent position with shift work, which means you will work uncomfortable hours in the evenings, nights, and weekends.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• Driver's license B
• Normal color vision
• Several years of work experience is an advantage, preferably from the service industry

As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Furthermore, you are someone who takes initiative and has a good ability to solve problems. Since we always work in teams, it is essential that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others. The work includes tasks that require good vision and can be physically demanding, especially when handling luggage.

Since our airport is open most of the day, you need to be able to get to and from work at irregular hours, even when public transport is not running.

As airports are a security-classified operation, all candidates who proceed in the recruitment process undergo a background check. For certain positions, a security assessment is also required.
