Where you will work

We are now looking for a nurse for our cozy Vaxholm nursing home. Forenede Care Vaxholm nursing home consists of three properties with a total of 83 apartments distributed over seven units. Five units are intended for people with cognitive impairments.

The facility is located close to green areas and good transport links. It takes about 40 minutes by bus from central Stockholm and about an hour by Vaxholm boat.

Who are you?

You are responsible, independent, and confident in making priorities and leading others. You enjoy mentoring staff in health and medical care issues, are unpretentious, and are motivated by organizing care in the best way together with your colleagues.

Your role includes having continuous dialogue with relatives and informing them of changes in health status. You work in a team together with nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and together with your colleagues, you want to develop the facility's health care routines and structure.

Job description

Part-time/full-time.

Working hours are scheduled between 07-19 on weekdays, 07-17 Friday-Sunday.

The work schedule includes every 5th weekend. Part-time/full-time.

• Licensed nurse
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Preferred qualifications

We would like you to have previous experience in elderly care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
